Our Making Process
Our Making Process
Every Organo garment is made to order. This is the journey your piece takes.
Your order is received and confirmed by our team. We check fabric availability, your sizing details and any customisation requests before moving to the next stage.
Our artisans hand-select the best organic linen from our stock in your chosen colour and weight. Each bolt is inspected for an even texture and tone.
The fabric is soaked for 12 hours in clean water to pre-shrink naturally, then air-dried in the shade, so your garment will not shrink after it reaches you.
Patterns are hand-marked on the pre-washed fabric and cut by our master cutters. Every piece is matched for grain direction for the best drape.
Skilled artisans stitch each garment. Seams are finished with care, flat-felled or French depending on the style, for durability and comfort.
Every garment is checked: measurements are verified against your order, stitching is inspected and loose threads are trimmed. Only pieces that pass move on.
Your garment is carefully folded, wrapped in recycled tissue and shipped with tracking. A linen care card is tucked inside so your piece lasts for years.
Why made to order?
Making each piece only when it is ordered means no unsold stock, less waste and a garment cut to your measurements rather than a standard size chart. It takes a little longer than pulling a box off a shelf, and we think it is worth it.
