A breathable linen kurta for men, smart enough for occasions and easy enough for warm everyday wear. Every kurta is cut to your size and sewn by our own tailors in our own studio, with no factory and no middlemen in between.
AVI is made from 100% European flax linen, and cut to your measurements, so it fits through the shoulders and chest instead of following a standard size. Linen breathes, dries quickly and gets softer with every wash.

Every AVI kurta is cut after you order, sewn by our own tailors in our studio in India, and checked before it ships to you duty-paid in the US or Canada. There's no stockroom of unsold sizes and no wholesale markup, so you pay for the linen and the craftsmanship, not for a middleman. If it doesn't fit, we remake or alter it for free.

Machine wash cold with gentle detergent, tumble dry on medium (don't over-dry!) We recommend dryer balls to prevent wrinkles, or hang dry, smoothing damp fabric with your hands to make wrinkles disappear. Iron as needed, Steam Ideally.

How do I get the right fit?
Every piece is made to order. Enter your measurements or pick your usual size at checkout, and our tailors cut the garment for you.
Do I need a tape measure to order?
No. You can pick your usual size, or enter your height, weight and a few simple details, and we work out the measurements for you. If you know your exact measurements, you can enter those instead.
Are linen shirts good for hot weather?
Linen is one of the coolest fabrics you can wear. It breathes, pulls sweat away from the skin and dries quickly, so it's ideal for summer and humid climates.
How long does it take to make my order?
Every piece of clothing is cut and sewn after you order it, which takes 6–9 business days. Shipping time is added on top of that.
How do I wash and care for linen?
Machine wash cold, or no warmer than 40°C (104°F), on gentle with a mild detergent and like colors. Don't use chlorine bleach. Line dry in the shade, or tumble dry low and take it out while slightly damp. Linen gets softer with every wash.
